Helena joined the Atlantic Technologies team in 2018 mainly focusing on digital marketing. With the makings of a great Salesforce Consultant, Helena has transformed her role and is now a Salesforce Certified Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Community Cloud Consultant, and a Conga Certified Administrator. This month, we celebrate her first year as a Salesforce Consultant by finding out her best bits and what is next for Helena.

Helena, how has Atlantic Technologies changed over the past year?

I’ve enjoyed watching our office grow significantly over the past year, during which we’ve become a tight-knit group of consultants. While we take our projects seriously and work in a very fast-paced environment, we also know how to have fun and make each other laugh!

What was the joining process like?

I was the first employee of the UK office, so my joining process was quite different from the one that we use today. I met our Marketing Director Pamela while playing tennis, and warmed to her instantly. After a meeting with her and the management team in Milan, I started working for Atlantic in May of 2018.

What are your career ambitions at Atlantic Technologies? 

To enhance my technical skillset and become a senior consultant, focusing on Marketing Cloud and Pardot.

Tell us something we don’t know about you…

I’m a fairly decent beatboxer!

When I’m not at work, you can find me…

Playing tennis and volleyball, hiking, baking cakes, befriending dogs, or buying out a bookshop.

What past projects have you worked on? Which have given you the most satisfaction and why?

Focusing on Sales, Service, and Community Clouds, I have worked on a project for one of the world’s leading Intellectual Property Management & Technology companies, as well as for an international designer and manufacturer of luxury cabinetry. I’ve gotten the most satisfaction out of using my problem-solving skills to come up with solutions for business problems and technical bugs.

How have you evolved?

I’ve become a better team player and have learned how to keep my ego in check during heated discussions.

Biggest challenge?

When I first became a consultant, I was often afraid of voicing my opinions or asking questions. Now I wouldn’t think twice about speaking up!
